REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ATTENDANCE
All those participating in the PikeRide races must be 16+ and will need to sign a waiver. All minors will need parent/guardian signature. Scratch and Miss and Out races will be seperated by gender while the relay will be co-ed.
Predetermined # of laps-riders jockey for position, and the final lap is called out with a bell and is a sprint lap
Miss and Out
Each lap, the last person across the line is pulled, until the field is down to 3 people; podium is then determined by a 2 lap race
You sign up and get put on a relay team. Each team will have 2 bikes. Each rider will do a lap, and then lock the bike. Once the bike is locked, another team member will unlock the other bike, and do a lap. This will be a timed event, and podium will be based on how many laps each team can do in a designated time frame
There will be a women’s track clinic wrapping up its last week during our event too!
Women’s clinic. 4 consecutive weeks learning the basic fundamentals to track cycling from USA Cycling coaches and elite athletes. This introductory course teaches beginners track etiquette, safety and information needed to get started in the sport.
More information about signing up for the track clinic can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/362810857882834/

Join us for the Denver screening of ‘The Bikes of Wrath’ hosted by BeAlive. The Bikes of Wrath captures the journey of five Australian friends, inspired by Steinbeck’s classic American Novel, The Grapes of Wrath. As the group sets out with a limited budget, they explore the space and the people between Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Bakersfield, California eighty years after the migration in the book. Recent recipient of the coveted People’s Choice Award at the Banff Film Festival, this film touches hearts and invokes a spirit of adventure.
