What could be better? See history at the speed of a bike!!!
Ready for some spring bike riding? The Annual ‘Ride the Cog’ Bicycling Event is scheduled for September 12th, 2020 in Hayden, CO. Three great scenic rides to choose from: a 31 mile paved and gravel grinder ride, a 26 mile mountain bike dirty ride ( the same ride local legend Ferry Carpenter would make daily on his bike in the early 1900’s ) and a combined ride approximately 43 miles with multi-surfaces. Registration the day of the event will begin at 9 am and the rides will start at 10:00 am in front of the Hayden Heritage Center, 300 W. Pearl St. The rides will all finish at the historic Hayden Granary at 198 E. Lincoln Ave where there will be a lunch and beverages for riders with live music.
Purchase ride tickets online before May 15th to get early bird prices: $40 for ride tickets (includes lunch and two beverages) online at www.haydenheritagecenter.org. Registration after May 15th thru the day of the event price goes up to $50.00. Extra meal tickets $15 adults /$10 for children. For more information you can go to the website or call 970-276-4380.
