Chandler Smith

Chandler is one of the three founders and managing partners of ClippedIn Events and has worked in the cycling industry for over 15 years.

Chandler most recently helped to launch Haute Route Rockies, a 7-Day Gran Fondo that combines road and gravel over the course of 535 miles throughout the Rocky Mountains.

Previously, Chandler served as the Director of Ride The Rockies (2007 – 2016) and Pedal The Plains (2012 – 2016); an event he and his staff created in collaboration with the Colorado Governor’s Office. Chandler originally cut his teeth as the Director of Bike MS, formerly the MS 150 for the Colorado Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (2004 – 2007).

In addition, Chandler owned and operated the Colorado Bike Expo from 2015 – 2017 as well as founded the Colorado Bicycle Event Coalition (CBEC), a professional association of event directors, in 2008. He also served as the Vice President of the Bicycle Tour Network from 2011 to 2013, when he and his colleagues hosted the Bicycle Tourism Conference in Denver, CO the fall of 2012.

A Colorado native, Chandler is both an avid outdoorsmen and music junky, in addition to his love for riding (road, mountain, and cross), you’ll often find him on Colorado’s streams and slopes or exploring artists at one of Colorado’s many music venues.
